Chandy quickly surveyed the bridge. She recognized a few faces from the Academy. A sort of organized chaos was present as the bridge crew got settled in - something had happened. Hoping she would soon learn about the current situation, Chandy spotted the captain and quickly moved up to him and came to attention.

"Sir, Lt. Cmdr. Kindle reports for duty as cheif engineer as ordered." She waited for his response, hoping that she had not disturbed the man's concentration. She still felt slightly uncomfortable around those in charge - a carryover from her early days in the Academy.
